Door Restrictors can limit door swings to 86 degrees which in most case can prevent doors from swinging into appliances, walls, other cabinets, etc. These restrictors are available for pick up at Dream Kitchens.
Step 1: Remove the base of the hing attached to the cabinet frame and close the hinge. It is easier to start on the bottom hinge so the door does not fall towards you.
Step 2: Take the restrictor and place it inside the back of the hinge. The cupped side will wrap around the cylinder inside the hinge. It will lightly click into the hinge when properly seated.
Step 3: Close the hinge and reattach it to the cabinet face frame. Avoid over tightening the screw which can strip the wood and cause doors to become loose.
